The Sound of Music
I was fifteen years of age, lanky, geeky, and socially awkward. My only records were Abba and Boney M, and the only music at home was Bread and The Carpenters as sung by my mum. And then my friend played me five tracks by Status Quo, and my entire world was changed forever.
Beautiful Bikers
Bikers, I mean real bikers not just people who ride bikes, can be greasy, smelly, obnoxious, loud, nasty, aggressive, violent, and very very macho. And then one of them told me he’d just put the kettle on and offered me a cuppa.
